Dead body found in Bde Maka Ska, Hennepin County officials investigating

A dead body was found in Bde Maka Ska on Sunday morning, according to the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office.

At around 11:40 a.m., water patrol deputies responded to the lake on a report of a body found along the shoreline.

Officials found decomposed human remains, and a dive team conducted a search of the area for more evidence.

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner will determine the identity and cause of death.

The sheriff’s office is continuing to investigate.
