Shots fired on I-94: Minneapolis Police searching for suspect who critically injured 1 person

Minneapolis Police are investigating a shooting that occurred on I-94 Saturday afternoon, leaving a man seriously injured.

According to Minneapolis Police, the shooting was reported around 4:38 p.m. Officers found a shooting victim on the freeway on northbound 35W at 11th Avenue. The man was taken to the hospital for treatment. According to police, he is listed as critical.

According to police, the shooting was captured on video, and they were able to locate where the shooting occurred: I-94 Eastbound between Portland Avenue and Chicago Avenue.

Police shut down portions of the interstate to collect evidence.

The suspect behind the shooting is believed to have left the area of the shooting on eastbound I-94 in a vehicle.
