After a hot week at the Minnesota State Fair, it’s looking like better weather for the last two days. Rain chances are fortunately holding off until over night, and should stay clear during the daytime.
Sunday we begin with lows in the upper 60s, still a little humid but a nice breeze to keep the air moving. Sunday afternoon highs will make it to the low to mid 80s around the metro, cooler to the north. Storms in the Dakotas will push east after sunset and could bring severe threats to Western MN after dark. These storms will likely die off as they approach the Twin Cities, and only light rain will make it to the Metro, if any at all.
Monday may be marginally cooler, and the afternoon will be partly cloudy with storms firing once again to the West. Monday night storms may have a bit more potency to them, and make it to the I-35 corridor. Timing right now looks to arrive in the Metro after the end of the State Fair,...
