Some Minneapolis homeowners could see property tax increases above the citywide proposal under Mayor Jacob Frey’s budget plan.
Frey has proposed an 11.3% property tax increase to help close the city’s $60 million budget gap, but some parts of Minneapolis are expected to pay more than others.
