“We walk up to the church. We were singing the song, and we all sat back down, and then that’s when the shots started ringing out,” said 14‑year‑old Endre Gunter. “It was the third day.”
On Aug. 27, 2025, a mass shooting occurred during an all‑school Mass at Annunciation Catholic Church in Minneapolis. Thirty people were shot. Twenty‑six of them were students who attended Annunciation Catholic School. Two students, Harper and Fletcher, were killed.
