Ron Schutz is trying to do what no Republican has been able to do for 60 years: win the election for Minnesota Attorney General.
“What we’re focused on is this is the year we’re going to actually end that streak,” Ron Schutz told 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS political reporter Tom Hauser in a one-on-one interview.
The 2026 race pits Schutz against current DFL Attorney General Keith Ellison, who is seeking a third term. Schutz spoke with Tom Hauser about the race, including his views on extradition and federal oversight.
