A man was killed Friday after exiting his stopped car on U.S. Route 169 and being hit by another vehicle.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the crash occurred around 1:59 a.m. on U.S. Route 169 near County Road 21. A Nissan Rogue driven by Abdulahi Mohamed Siad of Minneapolis had stopped on the right shoulder of the southbound roadway.
Siad reprotedly exited the vehicle and was struck by a southbound BMW, killing him.
The passengers in Siad’s vehicle, three women, were not injured, nor was the driver of the BMW.
