Man sentenced to life in prison for stabbing mother of his children 9 times

A man will spend the rest of his life in prison after pleading guilty to stabbing the mother of his children several times.

Jason Philip Filas, 49, was sentenced to life in prison for the death of 32-year-old Danielle Grace Warren in May of 2025.

Filas pleaded guilty in September to one count of first-degree murder while committing domestic abuse with a past pattern of domestic abuse.
