Hopkins schools address surge of late buses to start year as families deal with impact

There’s more clarity surrounding conflicting information from a west metro school district as families continue to deal with late buses. 

Some Hopkins Public Schools students have waited an hour for their bus to arrive; other families have chosen to give their child a ride to school — every day so far — because their bus has been so late.

It’s an issue the district says it’s been working to improve since the end of their first week, with continued promises as the second week kicks off with more apparent delays.
