The Hill-Murray Pioneers football team defeated the Chisago Lakes Wildcats 49-0 on Friday evening at Hill-Murray High School.

Hill-Murray scored on their first offensive play of the season when junior wideout Silas Deziel hauled in a long pass from sophomore quarterback Brayden Hartmann to make it 7-0 Pioneers just 15 seconds into the season.
Junior running back Grady Buettner scored on a rushing touchdown for Hill-Murray to make it 14-0 in the first quarter. Early in the second quarter, Hartmann found junior tight end Brady Reeves in the end zone for a touchdown to put the Pioneers up 21-0. Later in the half, junior wideout Jacob Dornan scored on a catch and long run to make it 28-0 Hill-Murray.
The Pioneers went on to win 49-0.
