Good Thursday evening!
We’re heading into a classic early-October stretch across Minnesota, with chilly nights, comfortable afternoons, and plenty of dry weather for weekend plans.
Tonight will be mostly clear and quite chilly, with temperatures falling into the mid-40s.
FRIDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL: Friday looks fantastic for high school football. Expect mostly sunny skies during the day with highs in the low 60s, then temperatures falling through the 50s during evening games. It will be dry, but you’ll definitely want the jacket or sweatshirt in the stands.
SATURDAY: Saturday turns a little warmer, with highs in the upper 60s. Most of the day looks dry and pleasant for apple orchards, pumpkin patches, hiking, or checking out the changing leaves. There is only a small chance of a shower Saturday evening, and this does not look like a washout.
