Napheesa Collier said Thursday she has not yet given much thought to her upcoming free agency, focusing instead on processing the disappointment of the Minnesota Lynx’s stunning first-round playoff exit.
Speaking during the team’s end-of-season media availability, Collier said the loss remains fresh less than two days after the top-seeded Lynx were eliminated by the eighth-seeded New York Liberty.
“Honestly, I haven’t even thought about that,” Collier said. “We lost less than 48 hours ago, and we didn’t expect to be here. So I really haven’t had any time to decompress or anything like that.”
Collier, a five-time All-Star who will become an unrestricted free agent this offseason, stopped short of discussing her future plans but reiterated her affection for the franchise.
