Expect a comfortably cool day for football ahead of a rainy start to the work week.
MINNESOTA, USA — It was a brisk start to our Sunday, with temperatures in the 40s and 50s for most spots.
Sunshine will return this afternoon. Highs will be in the 60s for northern Minnesota, with 70s found across the rest of the region.
Football fans will enjoy a beautiful afternoon for tailgating with light winds and clear skies.
A Weather Impact Alert will be in effect all day Monday, as it will be a very wet start to the week.
Widespread showers and storms expected by late morning on Monday. Around 1.0" of rain is likely over a large portion of the region, with even higher amounts possible in the southern portion of Minnesota.
The added clouds and moisture will knock our high temperatures down into the 60s!
The cooler (seasonal) air sticks around much of next week.
