A Minnesota Wild spokesperson told KARE 11 the team is working feverishly with the NHL to come up with an option for affected businesses.
ST PAUL, Minnesota — In the state of hockey, on the street just down from where the Wild play, the home team can't be seen on most of the sports bars' TV screens.
"We are losing business. We're losing a lot and it's very, very frustrating and people... it's more complicated than they know," said Kathy Gosiger, general manager at Tom Reid's Hockey City Pub on West 7th Street in St. Paul.
The Wild are in Winnipeg Tuesday night but the game won't be showing at Tom Reid's. Instead, as reported in the Pioneer Press, they're encouraging patrons to bring their phones and laptops to watch.
