Urban exploring leads to 4 men charged in Chaska hotel break-in

Four men were charged Wednesday after entering the former Oak Ridge Hotel & Conference Center in Chaska.

According to a criminal complaint, 18-year-olds Dylan Hicks-Burbul and Thomas Kotval, both from Superior, Wis., and Braydon Holsclaw from Solon Springs, Wis., were charged with burglary, trespassing and fleeing from a police officer. 18-year-old Michael Pearson of Shakopee also faces those charges, including property damage.

Court records show officers responded after someone reported that security cameras caught six men inside the building on Sept. 27. Two Chaska police officers arrived and saw the group walking toward them, but the group then ran away.

One of the officers yelled that they were all under arrest, and both officers pursued the group on foot.
