WASHINGTON — A tiny satellite roughly the size of a carry-on suitcase could potentially help scientists answer what happened during the 150 million years of cosmic darkness before the universe’s first stars appeared.
An international team, led by the University of Cambridge, published details of the mission in the journal Nature Astronomy. The satellite, called CosmoCube, would orbit the moon and use its far side as a shield against radio interference from Earth.
