Scott Pitre of Texas just recently spent a weekend at the lake with his sons. Now, he's planning their funerals. Their mother has been charged with capital murder.
WAXAHACHIE, Texas — Just over a week ago, Scott Pitre was at the lake celebrating one of his sons' birthdays. Now he's planning their funerals.
"I don't understand it," Pitre said.
Pitre said his younger son, Brian, had just turned 15 and was a freshman in high school. His older son, Christopher, was 21.
"I'm thankful that I got this last weekend with them," Pitre said.
