Four weeks from now, November midterms will chart path for Minnesota and the nation

MINNEAPOLIS — In exactly four weeks, the outcome of the November midterms will shape the future of the nation and the state of Minnesota. 

At the federal level, the balance of power in Congress is at stake, with enormous consequences for the final two years of President Trump's second administration. In Minnesota, the entire legislature and governor's seat are on the ballot, with a number of scenarios possible for either a Democratic trifecta, Republican trifecta or continuation of a divided state government.
