Another season begins Thursday night for St. Thomas football, but head coach Glenn Caruso believes the foundation of the program remains unchanged.
As the Tommies prepare to host Division II Winona State in their season opener, Caruso enters his 19th season leading a program that has built its reputation on culture, consistency and a willingness to challenge itself against tough competition.
“We ebb and flow throughout talent every year,” Caruso said. “But culture remains constant. I just love the attitude that these guys are bringing. Thoughtful, selfless. Truly love this group. They’re working really, really hard right now.”
