A 29-year-old man faces multiple felony charges following alleged break-ins at two restaurants and a physical struggle that left a police officer injured.
ST PAUL, Minn. — A St. Paul man is facing multiple felony charges after investigators linked him to a burglary at The Gnome Craft Pub, an attempted burglary at The Lexington restaurant and an ensuing confrontation with a police officer, according to a criminal complaint filed in Ramsey County District Court.
Jason Lionel Wayne Gatrell, 29, of St. Paul, is charged with attempted second-degree burglary, unlawful use of tear gas, fourth-degree assault of a peace officer causing demonstrable bodily harm and attempted disarming of a peace officer. The charges stem from an incident that occurred Aug. 17.
