MINNEAPOLIS — The Minneapolis Business, Housing & Zoning Committee unanimously passed an ordinance that requires any licensed business that sells liquor to post its dress code, if it has one, near the entrance.
The ordinance still needs to be voted on by the entire council, but if it passes, it will go into effect in January 2027.
“It’s really just simple: if you got a dress code, post it. If you don’t, don’t worry about it," said Council Member Pearll Warren.
