ROCHESTER, Minn. (FOX 9) - U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is visiting southern Minnesota Friday to announce a new federal partnership aimed at improving safety for autistic individuals.

The backstory:
RFK Jr. will first join federal and local officials, law enforcement and community partners for a closed roundtable highlighting Project Lifesaver, a local search-and-rescue program serving individuals with autism, according to a press release.
After the meeting, Kennedy will hold a press conference with federal partners to announce the new partnership and other initiatives.
The press conference in Rochester is scheduled to begin at 11:45 a.m. and can be watched live in the player above.
