Police investigating threat made toward Lakeville schools

Two Lakeville schools were put into secure protocols on Tuesday after a threat was made toward the building.

Lakeville police say they were called to Kenwood Trail Middle School and Lakeville Pathways Academy after noon for a threat; law enforcement searched the building, where both schools are located, and did not find anything of significance.

No one was hurt, and students remained in their classrooms as law enforcement searched, Lakeville police said.

This comes after an anonymous threat regarding firearms and explosives caused Lakeville North and South high schools to close last week.
