Bloomington Jefferson built a two-touchdown lead and then withstood a strong second-half comeback from Minneapolis Washburn to secure a 20-16 victory Friday night at Bloomington Jefferson High School

The Jaguars seized momentum late in the first half and carried it into the opening minutes after intermission, scoring touchdowns on consecutive possessions to take control of the game.
Quarterback Joe Moore led the Jefferson offense, throwing for three touchdowns. He connected with Dorian Ward on a 13-yard scoring strike, found Gavin Vanoverbeke for a 47-yard touchdown and later hit Augustus Vollmuth for a 43-yard score.
