Minnesota Wild honor journalist Jessi Pierce killed in White Bear Lake fire

The Minnesota Wild and local sports reporters have launched a new award honoring Jessi Pierce and her three children, who were killed in a fire in White Bear Lake earlier this year.

In a press release, the team said the Jessi Pierce Media Beauty Award will be given each year to the Wild player voted by local media as the most professional, accessible and respectful in working with reporters.
