Man sentenced to work release, probation in connection with infant son’s death

A Minneapolis man has been sentenced in connection with the death of his newborn son last year.

Kylen George Johnson Allen, 20, was sentenced Monday to 180 days in the Hennepin County Workhouse, 180 days of work release and five years of supervised probation. He was previously convicted on one count of second-degree manslaughter.
