Kentucky amputee's crocheted arm sparks hope and viral fame

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Joe Tomasulo underwent arm amputation surgery in early September after a motorcycle injury in August 2020.

"I was a guitar player, pool player, I was a chef, a mechanic, basically everything that involves like two hands," Tomasulo said. "I lost all that, but, you know, I had to just make do with what I had."
