Good Thursday morning!
There are a few showers falling across the north central parts of the state this morning.
The next “best” chance for showers for the rest of us will come late today and this evening. While a large severe weather outbreak is not expected today, an isolated severe thunderstorm may bring a few downpours, gusty wind and possible hail. Most of the rain will be on the light side.
I am not expecting a lot of rain with most of the area only picking up .10” to .25” of new rain, but higher amounts are possible near any thunderstorms.
Skies will clear early Friday with the return of the sun.
A beautiful weekend is on the way with sunshine both days and temperatures in the upper 70’s to near 80 degrees.
