Ken Barlow is forecasting a few shower chances this week

Good Monday morning!

We will see a cooler week this week compared to last week. There are few chances of rain this week, but not enough to really put a dent into our summertime rain deficit.

Since June 1st, the metro area is running about 4” below the normal rainfall to date.

The first chance of a few showers will come late today and this evening. A thunderstorm is possible in the metro, with the slight chance of a severe storm over Southwest MN.

Severe weather is not expected across the rest of the state.

The cooler weather will last on Tuesday with temperatures remain in the 70’s under cloud cover and scattered showers.

The sun returns on Wednesday along with pleasant weather into the weekend.
