ST PAUL, Minn — A globe-trotting fraudster whose company was exposed in a KARE 11 investigation has pleaded guilty to wire fraud for stealing taxpayer money intended to help vulnerable Minnesotans find housing.

Hassan Ahmed Hussein, a co-owner of Pristine Health, pleaded guilty to his role in a fraud scheme involving Minnesota’s now-defunct Medicaid-funded Housing Stabilization Services program.
