INTERVIEW: Midwest Black Book Fair

A book fair celebrating Black literature is coming to north Minneapolis next weekend.

The inaugural Midwest Black Book Fair will feature book signings with prominent Black authors, workshops, children’s activities and more.

Terresa Hardaway, owner of Black Garnet Books, stopped by to share what went into bringing this event to life.

The Midwest Black Book Fair runs from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, at the University of Minnesota Urban Research and Outreach-Engagement Center. More details are available online.
