Public data records show the Hennepin County Attorney's Office is spending an increasing amount of money on security due to online threats.
MINNEAPOLIS — Five years ago, Michael Rozin of Rozin Security says it would have been unusual for a county attorney's office to spend half a million dollars on security. But a lot has changed in five years, so much so that Rozin says that amount of spending now is practically normal.
Public data records obtained by KARE show the Hennepin County Attorney's Office spent $513,000 on security between November of 2023 and September of this year.
"I don't think that's abnormal, given that it is on par and on market," Rozin said.
