Hairball steps in for Rod Stewart at Minnesota State Fair Grandstand

The Minnesota State Fair announced a new musical act for its Grandstand shows on Friday.

Hairball will be performing at the State Fair on Sept. 1. The ’80s rock tribute band will replace Rod Stewart, after he canceled due to a coronary stent procedure.

The show will feature a guest performance by Slave Raider.

The show begins at 7 p.m. The Minnesota State Fair said the show will be free with fair admission.
