The granola, marketed for breastfeeding mothers, was distributed nationwide through mail orders on the Hampton Grocer's website and on Amazon.
WASHINGTON — Certain packages of a granola marketed to breastfeeding mothers are under recall over concerns it may be contaminated with salmonella, the Food and Drug Administration said in a recall notice Friday.
The Hampton Grocers, Inc. issued a recall over certain 8-ounce packages of Lacnola Lactation Granola after an ingredient supplier's lab sample tested positive for salmonella. The ingredient contained organic moringa powder.
