WASHINGTON — Multiple entertainment outlets are reporting that "Game of Thrones" actor Kit Harington has been cast in a key role in the second season of HBO's television adaptation of "Harry Potter."

Harington will portray Gilderoy Lockhart, a professor at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, according to Deadline and Entertainment Weekly.
