Gunshots were fired near an Edina church on Tuesday night and police are asking anyone with information or surveillance video to contact them.
Officers responded to the 5000 block of Eden Avenue at around 8 p.m. after reports of gunfire in the area.
Our 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS camera crew was outside Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church where police were gathering evidence just down the street from Edina City Hall.
Police were able to locate evidence of gunfire but the suspect had left the scene before officers arrived.
Nobody was injured and police say this investigation is active. Anyone with valuable information is being asked to contact police or email [email protected].
This investigation comes about two months after shots were fired at Yancy Park in Edina during a large gathering.
