Edina park shooting: $5,000 reward offered for tips leading to charges

The Edina First Responders Fund is offering a $5,000 reward for information that leads to charges in a July shooting at Yancey Park during a large gathering, the City of Edina announced Tuesday.

On July 22, Edina police responded to reports of a shooting at the park around 9 p.m., but the shooter had left before officers arrived. Nobody was hit, but gunfire struck a nearby house, according to authorities.
