A California man has learned his prison sentence after stealing more than $1 million from his employer, Optum, Inc., according to the U.S. Department of Justice.
Karan Gupta, 48, was sentenced to three years in prison on Monday for one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud, 10 counts of wire fraud and one count of conspiracy to commit money laundering.
Gupta was found guilty after a jury trial in February.
