Cupito and SMB Wolfpack stay undefeated with win over DeLaSalle

The SMB Wolfpack football team defeated the DeLaSalle Islanders 50-0 Friday night at DeLaSalle High School.

On the opening kickoff, an Islander muffed kickoff reception led to a Wolfpack safety to make it 2-0. 

On their ensuing possession, SMB freshman quarterback Carter Cupito finished off the drive with a rushing touchdown to make it 8-0 Wolfpack. 

SMB added another touchdown on their next possession from Cupito pass to make it 16-0. 

In the second, Cupito found sophomore wideout James Grossman in the end zone to make it 22-0. Later in the half, Cupito hit senior wideout James Shaw for a touchdown pass to make it a 29-0 game. 

SMB improved to 2-0 on the season following the win. The Wolfpack is scheduled to host Richfield in Week-3.
