Crews are working to repair a damaged gas line in north Minneapolis on Monday, according to CenterPoint Energy.
The company said a third-party contractor struck a natural gas line along West Broadway between Emerson and Fremont avenues.
CenterPoint said it is working with local officials to reopen the road once it is safe to do so. The company added that about six customers will experience an outage, with service expected to be restored “safely and as quickly as possible.”
If you smell natural gas, leave your home immediately on foot and report the leak to 911 and CenterPoint at 800-296-9815.
