Carla Jeffery, known for role in Disney's 'Zombies,' dies at 33

WASHINGTON — Carla Jeffery, an actress known for her role in Disney’s musical-horror movie "Zombies," has died. She was 33.

A post was shared on her Instagram profile Wednesday, announcing her death.

“It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our beloved Carla Jeffery, who passed away on Sept. 1, 2026, at just 33 years old,” the post read in part.

Jeffery played Bree in the “Zombies” franchise. She also starred in "Shake It Up" and the 2006 movie "Phat Girlz.”
