JEFFERSON PARISH, La. — A jury reached a verdict Thursday in the trial of two people charged in the death of Kansas City sports reporter Adan Manzano, who died in the New Orleans area while he was covering the Super Bowl.
Danette Colbert was found guilty of negligent homicide, a lesser charge to the original manslaughter charge. She and Rickey White were also convicted of racketeering in connection with Manzano's death. White was found not guilty of manslaughter.
