The teenager from Thailand discussed her performances on the reality competition show and what she plans to do next.
LOS ANGELES — Teen rock phenom Nene Royal powered her way through the competition and was announced as the winner of Season 21 of "America's Got Talent" Wednesday night.
"In my mind, I didn't expect that I'm going to be a champion because my dream is I want to be on 'AGT' and to get through to the final rounds and maybe I can get like a champion. My dreams come true, and I'm very proud of myself," Royal said.
The 16-year-old is from Phuket, Thailand, and started playing guitar at 7 years old — and is mostly self-taught.
