Woman dies after motorcycle crash near Richmond

RICHMOND, Minn. — A 52-year-old woman is dead after a motorcycle crash in Munson Township on Sunday. 

The Stearns County Sheriff's Office shared that Kelli Jo Gauthier, of Avon, was reportedly riding her motorcycle with a group of other riders before she left them. She did not return home, so family members checked the area for two hours before calling law enforcement. 

A police officer found Gauthier and her motorcycle crashed in a ditch near the 25500 block of County Road 9 around 6 p.m. Officials attempted life-saving measures but paramedics pronounced her dead at the scene. 

The Stearns County Sheriff's Office stated that officials believe alcohol was not a factor in the crash. <...
