The prize has been building up after 43 consecutive drawings with no jackpot winners. The last time the Powerball was won was May 2, when two tickets in Florida and Texas split a $20 million prize.
Monday's drawing is the eighth largest Powerball jackpot in the game's history, sitting at an estimated $905 million with a cash value of $391.9 million for those who opt out of the annuity option.
