MEQUON, Wisconsin — Fromm Family Foods is recalling two varieties of its canned wet dog food due to potential metal contamination.
According to the FDA, the recall affects 3,852 cases of Turkey Pâté Wet canned dog food and 1,973 cases of Diner Classics Milo's Meatloaf Pâté Wet canned dog food.
The recall was initiated after the company received complaints of metal contamination in the products, according to the announcement. Fromm said it has identified the source of the error and implemented corrective actions to prevent it from happening again.
