For the first time, the Bloomington Athletic Association is hosting an all-girls flag football league.
BLOOMINGTON, Minn. — A Bloomington mom and daughter are concerned inadequate lighting at a city park is hindering the Bloomington Athletic Association (BAA)'s inaugural all-girls flag football season.
"It’s fall. It’s getting dark pretty early, and the fields that we’re practicing on aren’t fully outfitted with lights," said Anita Smithson, whose daughter is a member of the newly-formed Panther Prowlers team.
