Early morning fog and drizzle will be followed by a mostly cloudy Sunday afternoon.
MINNESOTA, USA — Sunday morning is starting off with light drizzle and areas of fog. Conditions may stay a bit damp through the 8 o'clock hour.
The mercury will find its way towards the 70 degree mark under cloudy skies Sunday afternoon; winds will be light throughout the day.
Monday trends warmer with light winds and mainly cloudy skies. Some partial clearing is possible.
Rain chances return to northwestern Minnesota late tomorrow before spreading across the region on Tuesday. The Weather Prediction Center (WPC) has already highlighted western Minnesota for a marginal (level 1 of 4) risk of excessive rainfall Monday night into Tuesday with the approach of a frontal boundary.
A stronger system will take aim at Iowa, Wisconsin and Michigan by Thursday, but we could get a taste of it with some light to moderate showers around the Metro area. Daytime temperatures will be running closer to our average highs most days, but our overnight lows will be trending warmer than normal with the abundance of overnight cloud cover.
