Gardeners should be ready for our first frost of the season.
MINNESOTA, USA — The KARE 11 weather team has issued a Weather Impact Alert for the early hours Saturday when we could see our first frost of the season.
The National Weather Service issued a Freeze Watch for late Friday night into Saturday morning. Expect a combination of clear skies, light wind and a chilly airmass. That mix gives us a good chance of a frost across the region, especially outside the urban metro core.
The Weather Impact Alert goes from 1 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Saturday.
