Expect a steady, soaking rain in the metro area and parts of southern Minnesota.
MINNEAPOLIS — Expect a soaker on Friday as KARE 11 meteorologists have issued a Weather Impact Alert.
The alert will run from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Soaking rain will be present in the metro area and parts of southern Minnesota.
Sunrise meteorologist Tucker Antico said to expect a widespread inch of rain with some areas receiving upwards of 2 inches, most of it falling in the morning through mid-afternoon. Any Friday night football games may be impacted by periodic showers and puddling.
Areas north of the metro will see lower rainfall totals.
